Adobe is now offering light, self-paced, micro-credential courses for students to learn essential skills and earn digital badges along the way.
Background:
School campuses and students are (1) looking for ways to practice the digital skills needed to succeed in future careers and (2) signal those skills to potential employers during the hiring process.
Personas:
The courses are targeted towards Adobe's next generation of creators. This includes both traditional and non-traditional students in the high school and college range.
Deliverables:
As a result, Adobe launched 12 self-paced, online courses on topics ranging from presentation design to social media content strategy, podcast editing and generative AI.
Each course features a combination of readings, videos, practice checks, resource guides, and content templates to help learners gain hands-on experience with digital tools.
At the end of each course, learners can submit an assignment that reflects what they've learned to earn an official skill badge from Adobe to showcase on their LinkedIn profiles.
