Four Women. One Campervan. Orlando to San Francisco.
Four UNC Chapel Hill seniors who went on a road trip from Orlando to San Francisco in a campervan during the pandemic. For three-and-a-half weeks, the women traveled in a campervan that doubled as a place to sleep on the side of roads, in national park campgrounds and once outside a COVID-19 testing site after one of the women received a positive test. 2020 was a record year for women in politics. Kamala Harris is the first woman of color to be Vice President. Stacey Abrams led the fight against voter suppression in Georgia, and a record number of women hold state legislative positions in America.
